GLASSES INSTRUCTIONS for HKUCO

Ⅰ CARE, USE, CLEANING and MAINTENANCE

1.     New sunglasses are expected to be adjusted by the staff before wearing. Please fold the mirror on the left foot first when picking up the glasses.

2.     When picking the glasses, please grab mirror feet in two hands and face off.

3.     Use the lens wiping cloth to wrap the glasses when unoccupied, and place the sunglasses in a special bag in case any scratches or squeezing.

4.     If stained with dirt, sweat, grease and cosmetics in frame or lend, please clean it with a mild detergent in warm water before drying with a soft cloth.

5.     The glasses are prohibited to be prolonged wet, soaked in water and exposed to sun in a fixed place. It is discouraged to be placed near the electric current or the metal edges in long-term.

6.     There might be some slight deformation in handmade sunglasses after a period time’s using or setting aside, which is a normal phenomenon determined by the plate material’s property. It is supposed to be restored as new if you perform frame adjustment in the dealer.

Ⅱ THE NECESSITIES FOR WEARING SUNGLASSES

Eye experts suggest that always wearing sunglasses is helpful to our eyes with the fact that our eye lens are easy to absorb ultraviolet light. There are two outstanding features as followed appeared in UV damage.

1.     UV damage can be accumulated and is hard to be intuitively felt by people since UV is not visible.

2.     UV damage to the eyes is irreversible and irreparable.

UV damage to the eyes is invisible and cannot be felt instantly, therefore, it’s still too haste to jump into the conclusion that UV damage can be avoided and sunglasses are unnecessary.
